To process film from the Kiev-30, I mixed this recipe to make developer. It contains regular household chemicals including vitamin C and instant coffee.

To hold the film in the processing tank I modified a Paterson auto-load reel. There are two parts to the reel, which can be adjusted to take 35mm film and some other larger formats. To take 16mm film and retain the ratchet winding ‘auto-load’ mechanism, I had to cut and glue one part of the reel. See pictures below.
