Yamaha DD-3

- Distortion
- Pitch/tempo adjust
- Glitch randomise
- Crazy beat
- 1/4 inch audio output
Overall, I found this DD-3 to be much less bendable than the DD-6 and DD-12. Furthermore, the regular controls are surprisingly unintuitive. After much prodding, I discovered a nice glitch by connecting three pins on the large Yamaha IC. Click here for a connection diagram.
Like the DD-6 and DD-12, I replaced the fixed resonator (which provides a stable clock signal to the IC) with a LTC1799 variable oscillator. On the DD-3 this changes both the pitch and tempo. See the DD-6 for more information about the LTC1799.
