The Stepped Tone Generator is a square wave oscillator with controls for frequency and length of pulse. It is from a schematic originally published by Forest Mims III. The circuit is more commonly known as the Atari Punk Console (APC for short). I housed the circuit in an old audio/video enhancer case and added wood effect veneer and vintage control knobs.
